Christmas is a wonderful time of the year and especially for Children so when it came to our attention earlier this month that Ipswich’s AEIOU centre at Camira was having a tough time scraping together enough money to provide a fun Christmas break up party for their class of 2015 we thought it would be a great idea to give a little back to our local community by giving the kids at AEIOU a helping hand.  We donated the money we saved by sending our clients electronic Christmas cards and we’d like to thank all of our clients for helping us help AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism.  AEIOU does a great job and we feel incredibly honoured to have been able to assist them to celebrate the amazing things that these very special children have achieved over the past year.

It’s common that borrowing or transfer of assets occurs within a family. It could be parents helping their children to buy their first home or children providing financial support to their elderly parents. When this occurs, it may be worthwhile for the party providing the funds to formalise the transaction as a loan arrangement. This could avoid potential disputes down the track i.e. when the children go through a divorce or when there are disputes about inheritance.
